After
years and work experiences, I had the chance to study in Norway at NHH, and
then in Canada at McGill University. It is where I learnt what I know about the
investment discipline and also where I developed my interest in analyzing
companies and their business model.
In this way, I
started this blog to show interested people how I do these analyses in my
spare-time and what element triggers me to invest my money in companies. I
started my own portfolio at 24yo, although I thought about doing it many years
before. Quickly after buying my first stocks, I figured there was one thing
that made me buy or avoid: I judge companies on potential growth but more
importantly on how it fits with my ethic. To simply, my ethic corresponds
largely with the ESG
precepts.
Furthermore, being able to gather finance and care for the environment is how I define Green Finance. It is about investing in companies that generate value without increasing the human race's debt to the planet. In this way, I also value companies that respect their stakeholders, their supply chain in depth and of course companies that show transparency and equity up to the highest level in the hierarchy. My objective is then to follow these principals while choosing companies, all that without going towards some greenwashing firms very present nowadays.
Thereby,
I would like to share in this blog all the analyses of companies I do: from how
I price stocks using models to a complete elaboration of the Equity Research
report, including the addition of all the qualitative elements (operations, catalysts
& risks, ESG profile...) necessary to produce a recommendation.
